The Sanderling schedules exactly one wedding tasting opportunity a year. They invite all the couples scheduled to get married for the upcoming year and have quite a spread.
Unfortunately, it looks like I may not be able to attend the food tasting at the Sanderling in January. IF things go well at work, I definitely won't be able to attend.
I'm torn between being REALLY excited about the work thing and REALLY sad about missing the only tasting opportunity before the wedding. As in, I won't get to pick out my wedding cake. :(
Did anyone else have to miss a big wedding planning event because of work? How do you deal with it?

well...
think about all the people who hire wedding planners to decide the food menu and pick the cake flavor for them....ultimately, the food will be great and if you go with a basic cake flavor and know what you want it to look like, then you can't go wrong!
