Big thanks to my parents for throwing us a wonderful engagement party on Saturday. Allen's family, my family and some of the bridal party finally got to meet! There were a lot more pictures taken from the party (but not on my camera) and hopefully I'll be able to share more a bit later one.

My parents love to cook and entertain so we had quite a feast! We had stuffed tomatoes, mini crab cakes, cheese and crackers, chips and dip, salmon and dill on crispy potato chips, beef tenderloin, ribs from Alexander's, cole slaw, green beans, Maggiano's chopped salad, apple pie, and pumpkin bars! Quite a feast!

Favorite moments:

• My 2 1/2 year old nephew ran around the party for about 30 minutes squealing and chasing the puppy. Hilarious!
• Allen's dad let my nephew play with his fancy schmancy digital camera while Sister and I had heart attacks and posed for some very unflattering shots from about 2 ft off the ground.
• At the end of the night, nephew had a piece of cake and then started SOBBING and we asked him what was wrong and he said "*sob*sob* I WANT SOME STEEEAAK*sob*sob." What two-year old cries for steak??? LOL!
• Seeing so many of my favorite people all in one place!

There was a LOT of laughter, great food and wonderful people! Thanks to everyone who was there!
