As the title of this post suggests, we've had another "when it rains, it pours moment" in our lives. Allen's maternal grandmother passed this morning. While we knew that she wouldn't be able to attend the wedding for health reasons, its very devastating to his family. Please pray for them and their loss.
My mom and I still managed to get some wedding related to-dos done today but all the devastating events in our lives this year so far are really taking a toll on things for us. It's really hard to build up excitement for a wedding that is less than two months away when we feel so sad.
I've been reminding myself this week that God doesn't give us more than we can handle, but we are definitely being challenged by Him.
