We have a LOT of requirements. We need something pet friendly (for Abby), with an elevator (for the grandparents), oceanfront (for Big G), and with a pool (for everyone else!).
When we first started thinking about the beach we considered doing the event at a "special event" home from one of the rental companies but none of them could hold more than 100 people and that just wasn't going to work for us. But we started thinking about how AWESOME it would be to have one special event home and then have all the guests staying in homes in the same neighborhood or street! With everyone together, it'll really be like a blending of our families and hopefully fun for everyone!
So we're searching the different rental companies on the Outer Banks for a home that fulfills all our requirements so that we can send out a list of all the nearby homes to our friends and family!
So far we've searched Twiddy Realty, Corolla Classic Vacations and Carolina Designs realty companies and so far Beach Symphony is the best option.
It's Oceanfront, has an elevator, allows pets (yay Abby!), a pool, a foosball table, air hockey table and BABY GRAND PIANO! I think Beach Symphony is also a VERY appropriate name for our beach/wedding house, with all of Allen's family and friend's being so musical!
I can't wait!!!
