Cute.Well you'll definitely see more bicycles than taxis on the OuterBanks and I don't think I want to rickshaw to my wedding, so one struggle we face is transportation. I think Allen would like to ride in this... (Sorry I couldn't edit out the shoe picture)
I believe this is a Rolls Royce and when we were stalking a wedding at the Whalehead Club a few weeks ago, they used an old car just like this!
What spawned all this transportation discussion? Why the Real Simple weekly wedding tip email...
THIS WEEK'S TIP--How to Book Transportation
Start to arrange six to seven months before the big day. Looking for a limo? Know that these low-to-the-ground vehicles can make entries and exits dicey if you’re wearing a fitted gown. Other options: a town car or, if you’re traveling with your wedding party, a minibus or a trolley.
To arrange transportation for your guests, try these sources:
Limos: Log on to http://www.limos.com/ for a directory of limos with wedding packages, or http://www.limousineregistry.com/ for an international directory.
Buses: Try http://www.busbank.com/ or http://www.usabuscharter.com/.
Shuttles, SUVs, trolleys, and more: Search local listings on http://www.partypop.com/.
