We <3 New Jersey

Well, I failed at taking lots of cute pictures this weekend. I don't know what happened to my brain. So check out Miss Ashley's blog at http://ashleykylebaby.blogspot.com/ for the wonderful pictures that she took of our weekend visit.

We stayed in Miss Ashley's and Kyle's apartment in Jersey City. Their apartment complex is amazing! It faces the Statue of Liberty, has a ferry to Manhattan, and an infinity pool that overlooks it all. They also have awesome canals between the buildings and residents can ever park their boats at their homes! Allen said, "it's just like Venice!"

On Saturday it took us 7 hours to get there due to traffic! Luckily Kyle had made amazing spaghetti and meatballs for dinner! On Sunday morning Ashley and I went for a walk and the boys hung out. Then we went to Hoboken for brunch along the riverside. It was gorgeous and baby Reid finally started to warm up to me (as in: he didn't cry when I held him). That afternoon, we relaxed and went to the pool and then ordered in awesome burgers for dinner. I think Allen could eat burgers for every meal sometimes. :)

We had to leave pretty early on Labor Day to "beat the traffic" which we apparently did because we made it home in 5 hours and only made one stop in the morning for gas! Although there was a lot of driving involved, we loved seeing Ashley, getting to know Kyle better and meeting Baby Reid.
