7 months and 23 days left!

If you haven't noticed my fancy schmancy wedding countdown at the bottom of the blog, today it says 7 months and 23 days until the wedding.

CRAZY! I can hardly believe that we've been engaged so long.

So far we've decided on or booked:

• a date (May 8, 2009)
• ceremony location (Whalehead Club South Lawn)
• rain back-up location (Corolla Chapel)
• reception site (The Sanderling)
• My wedding dress
• House for my family to stay in (Miss Ashley has hers reserved too)
• Wedding party
• Wedding planner (Nannette Kallestad of The Proper Setting)
• Hotel Room blocks (The Sanderling and the Hampton Inn Corolla)

We're close to deciding/booking:

• Wedding band (possibly Soulercoaster)
• Florist (still negotiating)
• Photographer (I just need to send the check)
• Bridesmaid dress (Kim and I liked this one yesterday)
• Honeymoon (we're between Jamaica and the Dominican Republic)
• Invitations

Still I feel like we're behind on stuff but I have my actual job work to do too. Thank goodness we have a wedding planner. :)
