Seven bridal appointments and three stores later, I finally found her, THE dress. Click here to meet Marietta. (I don't want to put up a picture in case Allen happens to make his way over here...)
My mom, Allen's mom, Julia, and I went to Saks Fifth Avenue at Stony Point Fashion Center today for my final appointment. Mom and Julia were absolutely wonderful with dispensing advice! Thank you so much! Marietta was the third dress of the day and I actually got that 'THIS IS THE DRESS' moment. In fact, when the saleswoman put a lace veil on me, my mom burst into tears. Not the pretty one gleaming tear cry either, the entire-face-turns-red burst of sobs. Which of COURSE made me lose it and start crying as well. So then we really knew she was the one!!!
I hope you love her as much as me!!! :)
