Katie and her hubby on their big day last June! Well, I've given up cursing (thus the title) for the next 40 days. Unfortunately it's become somewhat of a regular thing in my life and something I need to give up permanently. I think it has to do with frustration and stress from work. Regardless, it's not who I want to be and I certainly don't want to accidentally want to let something inappropriate slip in front of the little ones in our family - Brock, Avery and baby William!
So for the coming weeks there will be lots of these substitutes:
- Shut the front door!
- Oh my word!
- Goodness gracious!
- Fudgesicles!

Hey!! I just saw this! Thanks for the shout out, too!! :) I like what you gave up for lent, I should have done that - maybe I'll do that next year. ha! Miss you!! AND... Daniel has TWO final four tickets if you and Allen are interested?! I mean, I know a plane ticket, hotel and tickets are expensive, but it's not every day VCU is in the final four - just throwing it out there. Let me know - Daniel's trying to sell his tix asap.
