Do you remember this? It's the toilet in my bathroom upstairs in our house. It's blue and heinous. We've been wanting to replace this for a while but it's not a priority when we have to buy things for the house CONSTANTLY, like a rake, clippers, shovels, axes, leaf blowers, it goes on and on. My parents decided to replace their toilet in the master bathroom so we're getting their old one. This could be considered gross I guess, a hand-me-down toilet, but its white, clean and we're related so it doesn't really gross me out. Also, isn't anything better than a blue toilet? I mean really...
In other news about the questionable taste of the previous homeowners, as we've been tearing down the wall, we've discovered every Laura Ashley wallpaper that's existed since 1977 when our house was built. Our dining room (which will be part of the kitchen) had peach trim with several layers of floral wallpaper. Today I also discovered that the house trim used to be sea foam green. YUCK!
