It's a very rainy afternoon in the Outer Banks, but we've already met with Nannette, our planner, and she came to pick up all our wedding items, like the seating chart, lounge pillows, candles and votives, bathroom baskets, table names, menu cards, programs, FAVORS, and I'm sure I'm forgetting a bunch of stuff.She did put the kebosh on our idea to move around our photos if its raining. But she made a good point that we don't want to push anything back and mess up the plated dinner at the reception! She's the best so we're putting our faith and wedding in her hands!
Abbie, our flower dog, is perfectly happy to just sit on our (very ugly, yet comfy) purple sofas and sleep all afternoon. She's just excited on the inside. Or when anyone comes over to visit.
Last night Allen's family and friends from his beach house came to our house for dinner. It was very yummy beef tenderloin, caesar salad and baked potatoes! Abbie wasn't sure what she thought about them being here and was barking at the beginning but warmed up later in the evening. We did realize then that she needs to be at the ceremony meeting everyone as they come in so we don't have a disaster going down the aisle! Lessons learned!
My mom however, was completely inspired and made a 'card box' for the reception!THREE DAYS TO GO!!!
