Down to the wire

You can tell that we're getting down to the wire because I haven't posted in nearly two weeks! We have less than 1 month till the wedding (yippee!!!) and we're tying up loose ends (and making a lot of final payments) at this point.


My suggestion to anyone starting to plan their wedding is to make a note of all the payment due dates and amounts on your calendar AS YOU SIGN EACH CONTRACT. It's such a pain to have to go through each contract again and again trying to remember how much you owe each vendor and when.

We drafted our packing list for the beach and its two pages long (single space). Granted, we are packing for a week at the beach AND a wedding but still, it's hard to believe we'll really need all that stuff, but I'm sure we'll use it (except maybe the shovel and toolkit).
