It's so hard to believe it's been a year since our wedding.
Tonight we're celebrating by going to dinner at Can-Can Brasserie in Carytown, where we got engaged!
We've come so far since that day but it seriously seems like a month or two months ago at the most.
We're still best friends and make stupid fart jokes (yup, it's out there now) and no one makes us laugh as hard as each other (except maybe Bryce).
I think so far the secret to success of our marriage is separate bathrooms (he uses our small master bath and I use the larger hall bath with the tub) and that Allen makes me breakfast every morning. Usually in bed.
I don't know how I managed to get so lucky! We're so blessed to have each other and our wonderful family and friends!

You nailed it...separate bathrooms! It keeps the romance alive! Actually, when we were first married I longed for the day we would have a master bath large enough for both of us to share. Then when we did, I realized that I liked the privacy of my own bathroom. Note to self: when building a custom home, make sure you design his and her bath suites!
